What would cause a Network running through a win 2000server to loose total conectivity? No ping between any workstations.
Symptoms...
1. Ups had kicked in during the night.
2. Server states driver/device missing, when booting.
3. Workstations sluggish and locking up.
4. Power company says no surges/spikes no outages
5. Resetting switches and router does nothing.
6. No virus no intrusion...
I figure the registry is hosed on the server.
I just can't figure out how... any ideas ( please be specific )
