Question Control Panel wierdness

Windows 98 SE
80 Gig Western Digital
400 Watt Power Supply
Syntax SV266A MOB
192 MB SDRAM
XP 2200+
DVD Rom
CDRW 48x24x48
2-floppies
G 4 MX 420 AGP
Lucent Win Modem
D Link Ethernet Card

I am having a wierd problem with my Control Panel.When I Double click my Control Panel Icon it will not go to the control panel,instead it connects to the internet and goes to a page with control panel listings.Can anyone help me to solve this problem.

It is not the Control Panel listings,it is a web page that it goes to.

virus? i would scan your computer for one if you havent already. there are a couple good online scans that can do it for you, though i dont remember the urls for them, im sure someone else here does though.
