Unhappy cordless optical mouse

I have installed the Logitech cordless optical mouse and I have trouble navigating with it
I have to double clip or it freezes. Does anyone have any suggestions. (Please keep in mind that I am one of those people who are technically challanged)

Re: cordless optical mouse

What kind of mousepad or surface do you have it on? Sometimes putting it on a different surface makes it perform much better.. A solid color mousepad seems to work much better than a mousepad with a pattern or an image on it.

Re: cordless optical mouse

yes it is the worst, but try a different mouse pad and see if your response is a little more sensative, the notice between black and something better, is really noticable with early gen optical mice, and cordless optical mice with power saving techs.
