Problem finding a file

I recently bought StopZilla and have found it to be the best Anti-malware program I ever used. It found worms and trojans that Malwarebytes and Spyware Doctor and Super AntiSpyware completely missed and I know they were real because I had recently tried several different Keylogger programs and ignored warnings that they were full of spyware and malware.

I did this because one of the programs had a piece explaing that anti-malware programs read false positives with those kinds of programs.

StopZilla found about twenty diferent worms and virsuses and I regonized the names of the programs I'd been playing with and it deleted or cleaned all but one. They say it's a very low risk uninstaller but every time I run it, this one is the only one that keeps turning up. For some reason they can't seem to delete it so I'd like to delete it myself.

Can somebody please tell me how to find it? It is this:

hklm\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\uninstall\freekey logger_is1

Thanks in advance.

Re: Problem finding a file

Hi!

Stopzilla, seems like a nice program.

Try type: regedit in "Run".

Then, HKey Current user and look under Software there.

Thumbs down Re: Problem finding a file

My own comment about Stopzilla: I bought a license directly from their webpage today and it says I would pay 9.95 for a license which would cover one year and the license which would cover unlimited support and unlimited software updates would cost 39.95.

I chose to go with 9.95.

They charged me for 39.95.

I'm very, very dissipointed at them. I would never ever recommend this product. It also once again destroyed my Spellforce. The positive thing was that it managed to remove trojans. I think some of the files which belong to Spellforce was identified as suspicous just as my Sophos Anti-Virus previously had done.

Huh. Tired at this.

What do you think Göran? Why did they do this? Fraud or just a bug in their ordering system? I was very, very sure of what I did and I know I myself did nothing wrong from what I could see from the webpage. I have e-mailed them, but don't expect to get an answer soon since they probably get hundreds if not thousands of e-mails including spam which constantly needs to get erased.

Thumbs up Re: Problem finding a file

I got money back from their so called rebate. Just felt surprised and confused on why they didn't do it at the same time as the payment occured.

So for me, Stopzilla is okay now and I would like to recommend it to others as well. Works good.
