Internet Explorer 8

Has anyone here tried Internet Explorer 8? I'm still using IE6 because I found it works faster that IE7. Now Microsoft is trying to get me to update to IE8. I'm wary of it.

Thanks,

Re: Internet Explorer 8

Stick to the IE 6.0 and use it only when you have to. IE 8.0 are nicer and faster than IE 7.0 But some sites have problems with it. The same goes for some on line banks. Run FireFox as your main browser instead.

Re: Internet Explorer 8

Thanks, goranpaa,

Yes, I think I'll stick with Firefox. Oddly enough though, when I want to print out my bank statement I have to use IE6. For some reason Firefox screws them up so they won't print properly.

Thanks again,

Yeah, I know some on line banks have problems with FF too. That's the reason why I told you to keep IE 6.0. "and use it only when you have to".

You're welcome.

Re: Internet Explorer 8

It has been working okay for me, but it's a bit slow. Firefox feels faster, and it probably is, I suppose.

Re: Internet Explorer 8

I've been using Google Chrome, faster then both FF and IE7/8 on my computer. I also like the minimalistic design.

I like it too except the last time I ran it there wasn't anything for extensions and I love my extensions for FF (NoScript, CookieSafe, Ad Block Plus, etc).
