Optiplex GX270 /w Intel Display 32-bit color?

This may be a kinda random question, but I have a home server I built running on a Optiplex GX270 (mini size) rig and it has onboard graphics with an Intel 82865G display adapter. I don't have a monitor hooked up to hit, since it's a server, I just remote-desktop it. But my problem is I've recently wanted to install a bot on the server that ONLY runs if the display is 32-bit color depth and the display on this rig only allows 16-bit.

I find it odd that a display adapter, even a basic intel adapter, made not THAT long ago would only allow 16-bit colors. But I've got all the correct drivers from Dell installed and still no 32-bit option.

Any outside-the-box ideas I could try on this to get my display to run at 32-bit so I can get this bot up and running?

Thanks a million for taking a peek!

Yeah, it's got PCI slots and I thought of doing that... but I'd rather not have to spend any money on it if there was a something simpler that I'd missed that i could do...

But yeah, if no ideas come up here, I was just gonna throw an old video card into it...

Re: Optiplex GX270 /w Intel Display 32-bit color?

pulled an old video card out of my "stash" just to try it, realized after I opened my Dell Server that I need a "low profile" video card because this Optiplex is a mini-tower.... sigh....
