Suspensions/Bans
I was curious as to what rules/boundaries members cross to be banned? Our mods do a good job of keeping our posts clean but this means I have no idea what people post that provokes our admin. to ban people. Go ahead and move this if its misplaced.
Obviously, if we use respect and good judgement, we can avoid it but nonetheless, I was curious.

That's pretty much it, right there
The types of people we (or at least, I) don't like:
1.) Those who post just to insult people (includes repeated hostile/belligerent sarcasm).
2.) Those who post to make themselves look good and think they know everything, while in the process dragging other people down by not respecting their opinions.
3.) Those who ask for pirated software, or ask how to do exploits and take advantage of something (basically, almost anything illegal).
4.) Those who think they can say anything they want by waving the flag of "freedom of speech" without actually having any idea what it entails.
5.) Those who spread misinformation and fallacies.
6.) Those who post inappropriate links or try to link sites with bad taste.
7.) Those who post racist, bigoted, and discriminatory things against another group of people without a valid reason except prejudice.
8.) Those who won't heed moderator warnings for whatever reason, just because they think they're always right and that no one has the right to tell them what to do.
Those are just some of the types of people we suspend/ban ... for starters

Thanks, armystud. Glad someone cares.
I'm glad I'm not getting banned either..stay away from the Red Button...
I think overall to avoid getting banned, just use common sense. If you ask about illegal stuff or act like a moron (umm..not that I EVER do..hmm), you'll be fine. If you get warned about your behavior, shape up. Don't flame everyone either.
