Linux Forum

Lately there have been a lot of Linux questions. A Linux forum might be a good idea. I can help offer some support for the forum so there wouldn't be a problem of unanswered questions.

I sure don't see that happening anytime soon.

Re: Linux Forum

Linux on the desktop is already pretty strong in Europe and Asia. Which is partly why Microsoft practically gives copies of Windows XP away in some places over there. And it's increased 600% in desktop usage over here in just this year.

Yeah it might take a while to grow in the US, but it is growing.

Re: Linux Forum

damnit a error erased my post, reposting...

why does linux deserve a forum? theres more posts about me then there is about linux! i want my own forum too then...

+ WhyTF does WoW get its own forum? just because there was like 4 threads about it doesnt mean it deserves its own forum, if anything it should be a MMO forum, there was a bunch of us playing EQ and there wasnt a forum + all the other MMO's

damnit this was ALOT better worded the first time

Re: Linux Forum

I don't see WoW as any different from W3 or Diablo 2, this started as a Blizzard forum so Blizzard games will be emphasized. Its clear that we don't choose our subforums based off of popularity alone, if that were so, why isn't there a Half Life forum?

Re: Linux Forum

OTS respects its roots, even if its roots don't respect it

thee, if you don't like the way subforums are categorized, you're free to start your own forum and do what you think is proper

p.s. EQ had its own subforum years ago ... guess what, no one posted in it beyond the first two weeks
