(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

If you're a hacker on B-net you should know by now blizzard is banning ppl left and right, so you DON'T hack.It seems to make sense with me ,but you...I don't know. Its your fault blizzard warned you about hacking on the web-site and you kept on hacking so now you can't play Bitching to a B-net rep will get you no where they'll just say to bad you had your chance to stop but no you didn't! If you want to report a hacker send an e-mail to hacks@blizzard plz have a screen shot of the hacker and the realm name such as west,east,ect... I'll keep hackers updated on more hacker info.

Wait, let me get this straight - you are trying to help 'hackers' by warning them?

Posted by: Shalome

This isn't really a hacking site.. we don't allow hacking discussions, and we delete posts asking hack questions.

So, if you want to assist hackers by warning them, you might want to do it on a hack-oriented site.

Well aren't you a regular good sameritan. Warning all those "hackers" who would have been banned if it weren't for your helpful warning.

Too bad most people have already heard that message, and those who do "hack" most likely don't really care what Blizzard has to say on the matter.

lets do a head count of how many people on here hack or used to

*Raises hand slowly... but then remembers getting scorned by every member of OTS *

Posted by: redwench

i feel the need to shun hackers.

Posted by: -EG-raynor

... and yes, i dont hack

Posted by: SKYHN

Heres a thought...

Why are these people that got banned for using the map hack and other hacks only being banned for 2 weeks? Why not permanent? Zero Tollerance when it comes to hacking is the way it should always be. Didnt blizzard at one time say they had a "Zero Tollerance" hacking policy?

Slap on the wrist is weak.

no iam not trying to help them im trying to keep them off B-net,I hate hackers alomost as much as i hate my self.Reporting hackers is a good thing. If it sounds like im trying to help them then im sry about that

Posted by: Shark180

Well maybe by giving the e-mail address to report a hacker might say that oh shark180 warning b-net users not helping hackers.I'll report any hackers and game hacking i c. So no im not trying to help hackers

Bah, hackers should be banned of bnet plain and simple. Any of the games that blizzard makes are always ruined by people with no skills, fun or respect for other people hacking. I remember the day warcraft 3 came out, there was a map hack. I mean, thats just sad. The fact that blizzard isnt perma-banning hacks is astounding to me, as i think if you do it once, you can never be reformed. Oh yes, im with raynor, i tried am map hack ONCE, on ONE game of starcraft, and i though that it instantly sucked, as their was no fun or stratergy in the game. So i promptly deleted it. But even so, more and more people seem to be turning to hacks. Everyone uses them everywhere now, so i think that blizzard should serve the BNet community as a whole and do a permanant ban on anyone found hacking.

You tried maphack once so you should have been permanently banned from starcraft too, according to yourself.
After all, "if you do it once, you can never be reformed."

apart from the whole map revealed part of d2's maphack, its seems fine. But when you have the whole map revealed its pretty lame. Its also kinda boring with the sunny day lighting effects, I like the rain and darkness it makes the feel for the game a lot better. I think the other things like the shrine identifaication, the monster view area thingy, and the unique monster ability parts are good. All in all hacking makes the game boring in the end. Hack if you want but if i catch you saying you do i will take a screen shot. Keep bnet as hack free as possible.

Apart from the operating system of Windows ME, it seems fine.

I hack.......

........or so my golf buddies keeps telling me.

Posted by: Grimlock

lol

Posted by: ashw

its not really "hacking" anyway they merly use a program made by someone else to edit the memory of the game.

Posted by: Shalome

This topic just refuses to die...

And ashw, that's hacking.

Posted by: redwench

thats not hacking, this is hacking:

*picks up a large axe and begins applying the blade repeatedly to her neighbor's head*

Posted by: N.W.A_Kid

No redwench, this is hacking:

*Begins to choke really loudly, face turns red, then blue, then back to normal tone again, eyes are watering* ahh...i think i need a drink.

I don't know....

back in my first explorations of Diablo 1, I used to play with a hex editor to modify my files. But, it got old really fast. Anyways, I was new to computers when Diablo 1 first came out, and I wanted to learn something about how the software functioned.

Since then (God, has it been 4 years?), I haven't edited a single file (aside from my server lists).

Oh yes, and I was pretty well known for reporting violations to Blizzard. All I can say is, it's about time.

Maybe the promotion of PatN to staffing had repercussions? Then again, maybe not.

Meh
what do I know? I'm just a person on the outside looking in.
