Blizzard's New Game

Blizzard sent out a letter to members of the press this evening announcing that on Friday, September 20th at 9:00 AM at the Tokyo Game Show, they will be announcing their next product. There's not much more to go on besides word that a second press conference will immediately follow (possibly allowing members of the press to speak with the developers). So let the rampant speculation begin! It's at TGS, so could this be a console-only product? Is it a new Diablo? The return of StarCraft? The inevitable WarCraft III add-on? Or could it be...something entirely new??
All I can say is.....

Well I mean I hope that they do create an add-on (purely cause those take ALOT less time to make than a whole game) I mean look at how they screwed up D2 with the rush to get it out after it was 1 year late, they couldn't even finish the game completely (stupid gem that does nothing).
If they do create a complete new game, PLEASE let them finish it on time or even with some time left over to clean up the stuff that they haven't fixed, so that we don't end up with the same repeat of what people got in Diablo 1 (Bnetcache) & Diablo 2 (bloody Gem).
Also I'm not going to whine about clan support on b.net here, cause even if they did add-in that the clans would not use it.

For sure. I mean, it just won't look right on the Blizzard.com website if they had FOUR universes. Probably something for StarCraft, only game with no true sequel

I fail to see the particular interest with Blizzard having a new release. They're the same as any other game company. Bioware has new releases. So does Sierra, Microsoft, Westwood, and a lot of others. I don't seem to notice people chomping at the bit about the game releases of these other companies.

On a non-cynical point of view, Blizzard is still popular ... any new Blizzard game piques more interest than a new game by some other company. And of course, there's the hype...
I myself am interested in a new Blizzard game. They're still up there in my list of companies who make the best single-player campaigns...
As for the other game companies, I fail to see any new game they may have that I would want to play... have any of them announced any new game recently?

I also think it's a WC expansion but I'm really hoping for Starcraft 2. Starcraft is still going strong (okok, going strong for like a 5 year oid game) and it desperately needs a sequel to Broodwar.
