anyone happen to know about a decent webserver?

I'm trying to get a spot up for my Starcraft sound pack, and if I actually get that in some semblance of order, I'll be finishing up (or at least touching up the completed parts) of my quake 2 and doom 2 packs and releasing thoose.

the whole damn thing is probally going to total 100 megs (20 or so each).

net-games WAS going great but then I ****ed myself over with tired lazyness.

Anyways the point of all this longwinded idiocy is...

if you're hiding some super secret l33t li4k chick3n webhost, share.

Well looks like you asked the million dollar question.

But what I need to know is: Do you want your own domain? Are you looking for more than 100mb of space? Are you willing to pay for the hosting? And last but not least, Do you want have the files on your site or Do you want to link them from another site?

Here are some links to help you:
http://www.bluedomino.com/
Looks great, unlimited files and bandwith, free domain name signup, This is the one I am looking at for my site...
http://www.virtualave.net
50 megs of space, 75mb if you pay $10 per month, it also has pop-ups ads unless you pay. Bad part is no email support for incomming mail. This is the one i have now that I will be using for my beta website.
http://www.zoom.com free website with adds and no mail. last time I checked unlimited space.

also you can link your files via www.myspace.com or one of the free 50+ mb webstorage services.

let me know how this works for you!!!

Later Daz
