HD Question

I'm installing a 20GB WD HD in an HP Pavilion 400Mhz 128MB Ram,Is it necessary to enable DMA before I install the new drive or after(I'm transfering 6GB hd to New one then making 20GB drive primary)The WD site says to make sure DMA is enabled.

It doesn't matter, it works either way.
The drive is just faster when DMA is enabled

This the first 7200 rpm drive I've installed doesn't hurt to ask questions<G>
