Since I am almost done with the Clan Haven site. I have started back working on my other site, SystemOverload. I am useing the same lay out. What i need form you is to tell me which background goes better with this one. Or which one do you think would have better protential over the other.

I like the second one better...but one question on the top image..why is "The" capitalized, but not "for"? Anyways....on the Clan Haven site I think the yellow makes a bad contrast, also, it's hard to read "The Ultimate Gaming Clan Forum Host". Other then that, not a bad start.

The second layout would be much better, but you have to fix your table alignment, because at a bigger resolution, the menu on the left gets pushed to the center and gets the white background (I am assuming you only tried that layout at 800x600 res). I am using 1280x1024 and it looks ugly on my res.

Try to align the main table to the left.
Also, the two green boxes are much too big for what they are intended for.
That's all I can see for now. Finish the layout and I'll give more of my feedback.

The clan haven site is starting to look really good 8) mk's opinion is just as valid as mine but i like the relief yellow gives my eyes. The other sites im reservering my opinion on 8) hehe cant really tell with the way they line up funny on my browser (smaller scale of laggy's problem) Btw the clan haven site still doesnt work for me on netscape 4.7 anyone else having this problem or is it something on my end?
