Missing files.

My PC has been working fine but all of a sudden now when it boots up I am having trouble.When it boots up it says Files are missing (vnetsup.vxd) I hit enter it says files are missing(vredir.vxd) I hit enter it says files are missing (dfs.vxd) I hit enter again and it boots up and then I get this error message-(Unable to load the dynamic link library-msnp32.dll.I hit enter again and everything seems to work fine.I have not deleted anything and I have ran Norton Virus Scan and can find nothing wrong.Anyone have any ideas on how I can fix this?Thanks Troubled....P.S. I did uninstall and reinstall my internet conn. software.

What OS are you using?

If you're using windows 98 then you can extract the files from the 98 cd rom.
click start, progs,accessories,system tools and system information. choose the tools menu of the system configuration utility and choose "system file checker" go for option 2 (ie extract a file...). Use the win 98 cd as the source (extract from bit) and extract to anywhere. then copy the files into the windows/system directory (or whereever they are supposed to be) and voila!! u should be in business.

For error message-(Unable to load the dynamic link library-msnp32.dll)

Goto device management and delete all modems and network cards. Then reboot and reinstall them.

Tweaker-Excellent.Yes I am running windows 98 SE and I followed your instructions and everything works perfect now.Thank You Very Much.(P.S. The site you gave me even shows easy way to get to System File Checker.-Start-Run-sfc. takes you right to it.)Thanks Again Tweaker.......Troubled......
