Starcraft: Brood War- Battle.net router question

Ok, me and my roommate have our computers on a router connected to an Adelphia power link cable provider.
Someone told me i had to set my port to 6112 and im not sure how to do that, he told me to post here with router specs. Basically all i know is its a Lynksis broadband etherfast/dsl router. Model: SB3100
