a small rant

*ahem*
**** bed rest. **** the bedsore that put me in bed in the first place.
**** ego-centric MDs that are more interested in research than patient care. **** their God complex that makes them believe they know all there is to know about everything. Double **** the attitude and mindset that makes them take on more patients than they can handle. **** their easily bruised pride that causes them to get pissed off when I try to take an active role in my care. They can all eat the corn out of my crap.
**** Medicare standards. Who the **** are they to say "you can't stay in the hospital" when it's obvious, except to the above mentioned MD, that I am not "all better" because I still have an open wound on my ass. I say the whole ****ing thing needs to be erased and started from scratch.
**** the hospital system here. The only way I could avoid this whole ****ing mess is to travel to StL or KC and find an MD not affiliated with the mother****ing U of M! All but one of the MDs familiar w/ spinal cord injuries are under the University umbrella. The one MD not in bed with the whore university and the dick smokers at the Health South rehab hospital hasn't seen a spinal cord injury in over 7 years! Something is SERIOUSLY ****ed when you haven't got a choice in specialists unless you take a 90 min. drive.
Most of all the ****ing hospital needs to get Sci-Fi channel. The two ****ing monthhs I was an inpatient there I missed the whole ****ing season of Farscape!
May the powers that be grant my wish of vengence in the form of lawsuits that bankrupt all the ****ing morons that kept my ass in bed for 4 ****ING WEEKS LONGER THAN TREATMENT REQUIRED. Better yet, I want them to get a bed sore so they can experience the boredom, bullshit, and bad care that was my experience.
In the words of George Carlin: "**** the ****ing ****ers."

youve had a bad day then?

At least you can go into a hospital without having to cross a pickit line

Sheesh, Justinious, there are like 7 hospitals in Columbia.. and they're ALL associated with the University? Wow.. I hadn't realized that.
You should talk to the people at Barnes-Jewish up here in StL... They did wonders for my aunt -- she doesn't have a spinal cord injury, she has a degenerative spinal disorder. But at any rate, yeah, I'd try to get to StL if I were you. I'm sorry you're having such a rough time with the UM system!

Try a bad 3 months Wenchy. I went on bedrest shortly after the 4th of July.........
Shal, I'll have to look into what BJH has to offer. The non-university doc here is affiliated with them. I've also been looking at Wash U. One of the best spinal cord docs in the world (Chris Reeve's) is there.

whoa wait a second, lets get to the real issue here... you MISSED Farscape. oh thats a reason to burn a hospital and lynch the staff if ever there was one. eh i missed it too, but i dont have such a flimsy excuse as 'well i hurt my spinal cord and was bedridden in a hospital full of sadists'. but seriously i hope things are better now (never knew they werent)

It will be much better when they rerun the episodes I missed

Until the asterisks starting ending in "ing" I thought they were being used as emphasis.
