Cause of Death -- Shoutcast

Yep, it's now 0340. I have to go to school in a little over five hours. I should have been asleep about 4 hours ago (well really much earlier but working third shift on the weekends has me all screwed up), and I would have been if it wasn't for one thing, Nova's Shoutcast. I always knew that I wasn't exposed to even a minute ammount of the good music that is out there, but this just proves how tight my blinders were. To my credit it's not (entirely) my fault, radio for the most part plays the same songs in rotation and the local college stations come in pretty poorly around here (and when they do come in I don't usually like what they are playing). But since I was made aware of it I have yet to hear an even remotely mediocre song (heh no, Nova, it still means the music kicks ass). Lacuna Coil, Nevermore... these are just two of the bands that earned an extended block of (I guess it could be called) airtime. Every one I asked seemed to know who at least Lacuna Coil was, and some of those asked have tastes I can only define as 'good as Carrottop is funny'. So how is it that they are aware of this aural manna and I am not? Well I don't much care anymore, I rejoice in the fact that they are privy as well. So if anyone wonders where I am in the next few days check for the shoutcast. If it's on I'm lying on the couch with headphones firmly affixed and eyes closed, if not I've most likely been reduced to a gibbering idjit curled in a corner of a softly padded room. Then again I may fall asleep on the drive to school tomorrow and run off the road. On my death certificate they can write 'Cause of Death -- Shoutcast'

Yup

I gotta agree with Erekose.

Thank you sssoooo much for shoutcasting some cool tunes. It's always great to hear great bands I haven't really heard much from.

Thanks Nova! *bows*

*groans*

funny thing is i did it automatically. see ive been proofreading my friend's paper all day. im just the spellchecker, someone else does grammar and such (and a double check of my spelling corrections)

use the spellchecker.net demo, heh heh

Posted by: Erekose

please excuse me while i go murder my friend...

...now to find some febreeze and a nearby febreeze factory

lol!

The demo is not in the place where you would think the demo should be. Use the checking feature, copy and paste in and out of anything it finishes editing, and never submit the actual edited stuff.

Also, watch out. Sometimes changing the grammer in one place can cause grammatical errors elsewhere in the writing. So, resubmit the edited writing after it's completed to make sure all errors are caught.

I don't even have all my Nevermore albums ripped. Just wait... I have way more metal than what is streaming right now.

I listened to his Shoutcast quite frequently last spring.

Ask him to play some Soilwork.

Too bad my music tastes are so much further below all of yours. Or Nova's music might actually appeal me.
