What kind of trouble shooting have you tried already?

ie; driver upgrades or uninstall/install wc3

Posted by: L0g

i have all the lastest driver for Card, M-Board, and windows, ive reinstalled 5 times ran scan disk, and defrag, but i dont think i had WC uninstalled

Posted by: Fred

Well that’s one more thing that you could try.
If it worked fine with the old card and not with the new one I think that you have limited your troubleshooting down some and it is probably a problem with the card.

Any other games that are having any trouble with this card?

Ive ran it a few more times, and i noticed it freezes when a peasnt/peon/aco/whisp gets at about 30% done in the Town hall

You may have to format your computer.

After a major hardware upgrade it is always good to format and do a fresh install of the OS to avoid conflicts.

I bought it from a store, and it didnt come with a ME CD

Bleh.

It's easier if you just uninstall old hardware properly before adding new hardware.

That would be useful before he downloaded all the updates for his ATi. I would also recommend a reformat and reinstallation of the OS. It would clear up all the driver conflicts left from the old hardware and reinstalling has other bonuses too.
