I am using NAV Corp ed.

I was wondering if its a recent Anti Virus

With all its good schedualed updates does it protect well? I dont know where I saw this in the program but it says somewhere Version 98...

Just wondering

As long as you regularly download updates from the company, NAV Corporate should work just fine.

Just so you know, there is no "Version 98" for the Corporate edition listed in the Symantec support site. There is a Version 2000 for Win 95/98/NT, the others all are 6.x or 7.x.

Version numbering info from Symantec's support site:

The version number of your software is not the same thing as the software version. Most Symantec products have a product name, a release version of the product, and a version number. For example, Norton AntiVirus 2003:

The product name is Norton AntiVirus.
The release version is Norton AntiVirus 2003.
The version number (which may vary slightly depending on how it was released and any subsequent updates) will be similar to 9.00.67

Click Start, point to Programs, and then click the name of the program (such as Norton AntiVirus).
Click Start, point to Programs, point to the name of the program (such as Norton AntiVirus), and then click the full program name (such as Norton AntiVirus 2002).

The product version will be displayed somewhere on the program interface (the location will vary).
