Can't install fonts

Have an AMD K6-2 500Mhz CPU / 128Mb Ram / Winblows 98 - I mean Windows 98.
I have a peculiar problem here. Windows tells me that I have too many fonts and can install no more. When I try, it says that the fonts are corrupted or that I have reached the limit for installing fonts. I've tried several font types with the same result.
Oh yeah, one other thing. I installed Corel Draw 8 with all their fonts. Installing the other fonts came after that installation. Any Ideas besides uninstalling CD8? Thanks.

You could always go through the Fonts folder and delete any you don't use (deleting fonts from the Fonts directory automatically updates the registry and acts as a full uninstall of that font). You can't possibly need as many fonts as it would take to hit the limit!

Also just to add, here's a good link addressing that issue.
