Mech Warrior 2 Music Files

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Right, so I'm sticking this in Software, since I don't need help with the acctual game.

The Problem: My Mech Warrior 2 addiction is coming back, and I've been listening to a lot of MW2 music remix etc. But how can I go about extracting the original music files from the CD? I don't want to have to load the game up just to listen to the games music (Aside from the fact that I've already tried that, and it doesn’t work in XP).

I remember seeing something about a long, long time ago, about a program you can use to open up the archive files, but I've no idea what program, or even which files the music is stored in.

Any suggestions?

Feel free to move this to PC Gaming if you feel it belongs there.

My MW2 games have all the music as cd audio. Just rip like normal.

Hah, how about that. Your right. I'd never noticed until now. Thanks

AHH My MW2 CD is at home, can anyone post the songs online somewhere? That game had great music, like Half Life.
