Alright I have tried very, VERY hard not to pick a Squaresoft cahracter, but i couldnt... my favorite character is Tseng of the Turks. Basically my account is based on the Turks. I like Tseng because his hair is funny. In some scenes his black hair blends into the background and he looks bald. Well Tseng was the coolest of the Turks.

Dunno those others though. I was a big Sierra "Quest" game buff. I've played and beat all of KQ (Except 7), all of SQ, all of QFG (mostly just Paladin and Thief), and PQ1. Been awhile though so my guesses may be off.

and the best part about QFG1 was you could play all 3 classes by being the fighter. You just slide 5 points into magic and lockpicking and there you go, all 3!!!
Edit: I'm sure you probably knew that already, but it was more fun that way, just took awhile to get the magic part going, and you never could afford stealth if I remember right.

I really didn't like playing the magic route for some reason. I think I did 1 and 2 as a magic guy, but thats all. Paladin was wicked fun though.
What was your take on Mask of Eternity? I never played it, but might try to snag it if it was any good.

oh and Diablo can't die.... even in Diablo 2 he didn't die, the soul stones kept them trapped so they couldn't move as easily, and when they were destroyed he was set free again (sorry to those people who haven't finished the game.

Mask of Eternity was alright. When I first bought it I had a slow system so it was kinda slow. But now that I'm upgraded I've been trying to find my Mask of Eternity CD but can't. You can get it cheap for $10.00 unsealed now if you can find it. If you have a Babbage's near you go there, I just saw a copy near me for $10.00 unopened. I might have to pick it up again just so I can play it. Hey for 10 bucks if you played the old ones, why not go for it?

Took a lot of thinking, but my favorite char has to be Taloon from Dragon Warrior 4. He's comic relief in the last chapter when he's in your party, always doing funny things like tripping into enemies while the weapon flies out, hitting a critical blow. I also like Ragnar, he's awesome when his level catches up to everyone else's.

Dogmeat was sweet. The only thing I didn't like about Fallout was it had a time limit, that's what I liked about Fallout 2, the only sad thing is once you beat Fallout 2 you can go back and beat the game again in less than a day. Is there any chance of a Fallout 3?

At the end of that game when Kain let's Raziel catch him, Raziel tries like a mother****er to kill him and Kain brushes him off like a mosquito. Raziel is the bitch who's running around not knowing the whole story. Kain is the master!
Don't get me wrong, Raziel is a badass, but compared to Kain he's just a *****.

Whoa now! Granted, Kain did allow Raziel to catch him. This was done intentionally definitely due to Kain's "At last. You're finally here." comment. Yeah, Raziel did smack around Kain a bit but his intention was not to kill him.
He knew Kain's fate didn't lie in the time chamber. If Raziel wanted to kill Kain once and for all he would have totally flipped out and wailed on Kain like no undead-undead vampire has done before. He probably wouldn't have thought twice about it ! Maybe not even once!

Raziel's role in the game wasn't to "know" the story. He's only out for revenge until his second confrontation with Kain. Thats when he learns of Nosgoth's fate. Hell, even Kain isn't fully aware of the big picture.

Kain knew everything that would happen, he's been studying the time chamber for ages! If he wanted to, he could have gone back and had himself never turn Raziel into a vampire in the first place! As Moebius said, he's "granted a degree of omniscience" Raziel can't even touch that.

Joneleth Irenicus.
There is no comparison across any genre. He is the best srcripted, best acted "bad guy" ever in a rpg, possibly in all of fantasy storytelling. His pauses are perfect, the tone of his voice is perfect in every scene. He doesn't use worn out dialogue or cliches. His end game speeches gave me chills. I think I actually had some tears of pity and remorse for him the first time I got to the tree of life scene.
So yes, Irenicus it is.

on a side note, has anyone ever downloaded Kelsey for BG2? Is he worth the download? It would really suck to download him and find he sucks.
Also, i dont think there is a better between Raziel and Kain, since if the company allowed one to kill the other, it would make less money since only one of the titles would remain. I dont know much about Kain, since i only played Soul Reaver, but i will try to eventually get Blood Omen.

You know, there's only one series of LoK games where the two actually interract. Blood Omen takes place in an entirely different timeline.

The funniest character in all of BG2 had to be that little mage/illusionist gnome Jan Jansen!
