The first name that came to mind about least favorite character was Squall Lionheart from FF8.
Edit: This choice was not because the only FF game i like is 7, Squall just plain sucked, no personality, no emotions till the end of the game... and so forth. Hands down he sucks. This is my opinion, dont start an argument, i can easily start arguments on what you said your favorite character was.

There was this game on the SNES, and you played with a guy that could shoot his (boomerang) arms and legs to the monsters, that guy SUCKED (and the game sucked too  ).

I've been thinking about it, and still am unable to decide on a least favorite. Will get back to you in the morning. But for now, let's just place Raziel in the position, because come on, compared to Kain ... he just is.

Kain had to rip out Raziel's wings while he was still in his "divine" form.
Then he had two of his underlings throw him into the abyss to kill him after he was still weakened from Kain's surprise-attack!
I mean, what a coward!
Later in the series Raziel said right to Kain's face "If I thought it made a difference, I would murder you this very instant."
Atleast Raziel has balls.
(And don't you dare bash the man for literally not having any in his undead form. That wasn't his fault that they were burned off!!)

In the original FF7 its was Aerith but it was translated to Aeris. at least that is what i have heard, dunno how much truth there is to that. I used a code to get Aeris after she died, and it made Aerith. So i am pretty sure Aerith is the real name.

Gameshark code for Sephiroth and the code for aerith were both unstable, Aerith code would glitch when an important scene came and would freeze. Oddly, i was able to beat the game with Aerith. And the Sephiroth one was screwed up in that it replaces Vincent, but if the code is on and you move Sephiroth/Vincent, the previous space would have Vincent/Sephiroth and the new space would also have the Vincent/Sephiroth. The end result was you could have 3 Sephiroths! Sephiroth was like God, even the power of Tonberry's Chef's Knife couldnt kill Sephiroth! Its not possible for you to beat the game with Sephiroth.

blahblahblah Kain isn't a coward fool! He's a god! Why should he soil his hands doing menial work when he can have Raziels brothers kill him for him. He needn't bother.

The name is Aeris, not Aerith. It says Aeris in the official FF7 manual that came w/ the game and I'm going with that.
Alot of sources had Aerith as her name, but it was probably a translation error or maybe Square decided to change Aerith to Aeris at the last second.

Dude can you people stop arguing about who is better Raziel, or Kain?! They are just opinions, you both can have your opinions. If someone says Raziel or Kain sucks while you think the one they says sucks is the best just leave it as is.

agreed, never like him never will. The whole point of his slot was to immitate Setzers slot, which, if you ever played FF6, we all know is a hell of a lot better.

I hate Relm from FF6. She is only good for the sketch Gau on the Veldt glitch.
I also hate Terra, her theme music is annoying and I just don't like her.

He had crappy attacks too, and I barely used him in battles. The thing I really didn't like was the whole concept that he was being controlled by the Turks or something like that. It was of no significance to the story of the game.

I have some faint memory of these names. Would this happen to be FF3 in the SNES? Relm was some kind of painter girl and Gau is her grandfather? Terra would be the main magic character if this was FF3 on SNES. I spent hours playing that game.

FF6 and FF3 are the same game, but FF6 is the proper number. More precisely, FF6japanese and FF3america are on in the same. America never got the "real" FF3. FF4 is FF2. So basically America got FF1, FF4, FF6, FF7, FF8, FF9, FF10 and sometime i dont remeber when but we also got FF5 for psx. We Never got the "real" FF2, and FF3. If that makes any sense to you...Its kind of hard to explain.
Strago was relm's grandfather. And there is rumors about Shadow and her, but i dunno much about her

I was leaning a little more towards fighting games, where you just have a large assortment of different characters to pick from and you battle one on one with an opponent. In RPGs I don't mind tough bad guys... and I never played FF7 the whole way through anyway.

Hmm, I think this requires some qualifications, categories if you will. . .
Character I liked portraying me least: Rambo. The old 8-bit NES had a Rambo game with these busted-ass graphics and jenky game play. It was pretty unbalanced. . . .you would be shooting stuff with a machine gun or bazooka and it would be just kinda hurting it but you run up to it with your knife and kill it with one stab. I swear, you could destroy planets with that goddamned knife. Well, you were John Rambo aka Sly Stallone aka ancient meathead. No good.
Crappiest graphics: Bram Stoker's Dracula. There was a Dracula game based on the 1992 F. F. Coppola vehicle that was available for the failed Sega CD system. Holy crap. I mean, holy crap. The graphics were not good. In fact, I use the term 'not good' because the english language lacks the capacity to describe what kind of an out-and-out legendary failure this abstracted portrayal of the struggle of good against evil this was. Holy crap. Half of the images were pixelated chop suey that was so bad I wonder if there wasn't some mix-up with the graphics format between the art group and the programmers. Well, you got to play a pile of scrambled pixels that was referred to as Johnathon Harker. You had two attacks which the instruction book referred to as 'punch' and 'kick'. However, most players of the game referred to these as 'upper body seizure' and 'lower body seizure'.
Most annoying character to play: The 'Noid.

You're kidding, right? Squal's character is probably one of the most developed, most dynamic, and most interesting of any character I've had the ability to see - games or otherwise.
His 'lack of personality' (as you put it, and incorrectly), is intentional. If any characters in that game were a pain, it's Zell and Selphie, being totally useless to any emotional effect and completely unchanging throughout the entire story.

You are correct that you can have opinions on characters, but characters themselves have defining traits that characterize who they are.

The worst character? I'd have to say Banjo from Banjo and Cazooie (I think that was the name). Damn that bear was annoying. How I managed to play the whole game is beyond me.

Oh, I knew how the early JAP FF games and the NA version were related, I was asking if the characters were from FF3 (or FF6) but wasn't sure. Thanks anyways.
