Morning running/work out people.

This is for the people who wake up early and go for a run. By dad is still one of them. He says that the cool morning air keeps him from getting too hot.
But why can't people just run at night? (Sure, you're harder to see, but hey) The night is cooler, and you also get to sleep easier. It doesn't make too much sense.

The same goes with the people who wake up early and go workout at "Ballys" or someplace like that. Why do they do it?! The Air conditioning is always cool. And it's not like the people work out there until the place closes. (If they do, then I'll accept it)

So...... Who runs/works out early in the morning? I REALLY want to know why the morning.

If you work out in the morning, you're energized and ready to start your day afterwards. This is assuming, of course, that you're in decent shape and working out won't exhaust you. If you work out in the evening, you'll have trouble sleeping. It takes about 4 hours for your body to physically wind down from working out.

well, if youre exercising outside, morning is actually cooler than night, unless youre in the desert. but, exercising is usually done in the morning because thats the one time of the day you can hold to a schedule. any plans made for later in the day are subject to change. as anyone over about 16 knows
ever go to a doctors office in the early morning? theyre actually running on time. if you go in the afternoon, youll be lucky to be within half an hour of your time. basically, shit happens, and stockpiles up during the day.
now, there are other reasons to exercise in the morning. some people are just morning people, and prefer it. aerobic exercise has been shown to be a little more effective in the morning as well. but most of the time, its just the only time that can be reliably scheduled.

Exercising after school in the heat really sucks, it takes so much out of you.

It is so nice to wake up at lets say 5:00 am and then go for a run in the cool air. After that you take a refreshing shower and have a nice breakfast and your day is set. You have energy and you are actually awake for the early part of you school/job.
