You mean psyched.
Anyway, I bet if all those stoners got off their asses, registered and voted, they'd be smokin' legally right now. hahah.
edit: just checked out that link and only 54% of the precincts have reported so far, so it could still turn the other way, if the other half of the state were all like "shit ya!" anyway.

Speaking of polls, I'm pissed off, the guy I wanted to win for our senator, Strickland, he's got 45% of the votes and that republican ******* allard's only got 51%, and only 70% of the districts have reported in, the biggest democratic counties still haven't reported in, and the ****er is delivering his concession speech right now. Why not wait until all the polls are in? It makes him look like a jackass if he conceads and then actually wins! (which I hope he does.)
Edit: And the Allard's campaign manager's got the most annoying lisp in the world, what were they thinking giving him a microphone . . . it's like nails on a chalkboard, it's pissing me off more than the election!

It's gonna be Florida revisted in Alabama over the next few days methinks.
Currently, the two Alabama candidates for Governor are at 49% and 49% of the total vote, with the Democratic candidate having just a marginal lead in total votes of by about 3,600.
99% of the precints reported. So basically, a handful of boxes in one county have yet to report.
Anyhoo. This Republican skon-of-a-bizatch better not win.

yeah spider 48% reported when i looked at it... but i doubt itll pass, now

50/50 here in CA too ... Frankly I don't like both candidates - Gray Davis (D) and Bill Simon (R) - as they seem to have conducted multimillion dollar smear campaigns against each other the past few months ... it's really depressing when you would need to choose who is the lesser evil...
As for the secession votes for Hollywood and San Fernando Valley, I think they'll both stay being part of the LA area - altho I am sure the valley will try and do something really silly to break off with Los Angeles...

Isn't choosing the lesser evil always the norm during elections? I know it is here in FL.

on occasion there actually is a decent politician

At least there are no more mud-slinging, my-candidate-voted-yours-didn't, this-candidate-defrauded-gov't-money-for-his-haircare-school political ads every 30 seconds. That in itself deserves a banana.

or two...

did the no-smoking-in-restaurants thing pass here in Florida?

http://www.floridacapitalnews.com/c.../amendment6.htm
70.6 to 29.4 it passed.
Actually, its any indoors business at all, unless in a designated seperate room which of course means mostly restraunts. Good for me, I'm allergic to cig smoke and develop a severe migraine within the few seconds of the smell.
We have to think of the other side though ... this is limiting personal freedom. Is this amendment even consititutional?

Really sucks. Times like this make me wish that I was 18, and able to vote.
Oh well, next presidential election I can vote.

When I turn 18, having the right to vote won't be the first thing that comes to my mind (i'll prob vote anyway though).

good man.
porn, cigarettes and lottery tickets definately come before voting.
Nothing like buying a copy of Swank, a $0.50 Phillies Titan and scratchin off some instant win lotto tickets. God bless 7-11

the lottery would be the only thing i look forward to... wait i take that back just the scratch off tickets... those things are fun
