3:30am....fire drill!

i was jolted out of bed this morning to the sound of my smoke detector's high pitch beeping! my wife and i jumped out of the bed at the same time running through the house to see what was possibly on fire! the beeping on lasted for 10 seconds or so and then stopped. the only thing i could smell was that burnt smell when a heat pump or oil furnance comes on for the 1st time after not being in use all summer. the smell went away after just a minute or so. all i can figure is when the heat kicked on, it triggered the smoke detectors! it was deffinitely not a good way to start the day! scared the hell out of me!
