Why don't you date your best friends sister? I am comming to find out why.
Now don't get me wrong my chick is rad and i wouldn't trade her for anything (short of cash). Shes funny, smart, pretty, yada, yada. Then there is my best friend. Funny guy. Pretty cool. I praticly live at his house. Now these two people just so happen to be related or something stupid like that.
The worst part is they get along pretty well. This you may thing would be good for my situation but its not cuase your overlooking a factor. There are only 3 real posibiltys for this
1) Shes pissed at me
2) Hes pissed at me
3) They are pissed at echother
this is a lose, lose, lose situation. If shes mad at me i get crap from him cause hes her bro. If i piss of him shes pissed cause im a jerk. If they are mad at echother shes like blah blah blah he did this blah blah what do you think. stop right there. WTF can i say to that really? yes honey hes a moron - WRONG then shell tell him when they arn't mad, or STFU your being stupid, i don't even have to discuse that.
Then there is the massive sucking akwardness. You three can't do ANYTHING toghter. I mean come on? You can't be cupely with her brother right there, i might as well make out infront of her mom.
So in short, don't date your best friends sister.

The way I see it is he'd be hurt for a bit, but if he's smart he'll get over it, because you and his sister both have a life too, it's just as hard when you go out with a girl and become good friends with her family, you don't want to do anything to upset either of them, but sometimes it's a matter of what's more important to you.
Best way to deal with things if she's pissed at her bro? say something to him, not her. That way he knows exactly what you think.

Exactly, if your best friend does something wrong you can't just go "oh well s/he's my best friend what the hey" In an effort to prevent friendships breaking up my friends and I agree that we won't go out with either's sister. If a friend, even best friend was to bag out my girlfriend then I would get mad.

Amall, I think your friend should keep his nose out of your personal life. Why the hell is he pissed that you're dating his sister, is there anything extremely awful about that? You started dating this girl and didn't know she was related to your best friend in the first place... and even if you knew they were related your friend doesn't have the right to be pissed at you. I think you should take this up with him, and make him apologize to you and your girlfriend for being such an ***.

Hey Xtren, wake up and read. No where in that entire post did it say his friend was mad at him for dating his sister. And I know from personal conversations that he's been dating her for a long time.

Well I guess I misunderstood that... because obviously the problem isn't very apparent. In general you try not to get your girlfriend mad at you... and usually you don't get your best friend mad at you either, because afterall he is your best friend. Just stay on both their good sides, and if they do get mad at you then oh well, there's really nothing to get upset about.

I don't see why you can't be "couply" or whatever word you used infront of her brother. I mean obviously he understands that she's doing that with you anyway, why does it matter if it's infront of him or not. I don't see it as your problem, if either of them is uncomfortable with it, that's their problem. It's not like all three of you are having one big orgy.
