Some good news for loyal fans of the show. Season 7 has been picked up. And Micheal Shanks is back full time! 
And rumor is that season 3 DVD's will be out in Ferbruary.

Didn't Michael Shanks "die" in Season 5 or something? Or did he just go to a "higher plane of existence"?
I dunno about tthe quallity of Season 7, but I'm definitely gonna pick up Season 3 ... I am YET to see and learn more about the Replicators ... it sucks to be 3-4 seasons behind

He Ascended.
The character interaction is what keeps me going with the show. And the Daniel and Jack interaction is priceless. I about die laughing when they speak at the same time trying to get a point across to someone.
I think most of their best shows were in the first 3 seasons, but I think most shows are like that after you do so many shows and still try to be innovative in ideas. Well developed characters are what makes a show to me anyway.

So, how is he going to come back, I thought he couldn't use his god powers and stuff. Or let himself be seen by lesser beings, he's an intergalactic spectator! I'm glad they're bringing him back though, he's my favorite guy on the show. I didn't like that kid they replaced him with.

omg i just finished watching the last episode of seasion 6 and omg i cant wait till season 7... why the hell do they take breaks in the middle of the season and at the end too? anyways dammit i sooo wanna see season 7 kuz the last episode in season 6 was good

They do it to make you keep watching the show. After all if they show it all at once, how long do you think the show would be on the air.

but dammit they should show it nonstop in some unimportant country so atleast some of us could know what happens... or atleast make them and not air them that way some ppl could still see them...
ok kinda a spoiler but...
sence in the last episode of season 6 they made a Goa'uld (nieubis i think cant remember) partly energy like daniel but he is like super stronger and shit and in the end of the episode him and daniel kinda go at it and he wins and daniel gets flung from his mothership... and then he destroys Abydos and then (the one who asended daniel) brings Abydos back just so sg1 can go threw and see scaraa and he says some junk then---errr
anyways i think they'll either make daniel human again(from geting beat by the Goa'uld) or make him kinda human kinda acient like the Goa'uld that beat him
oh and btw when daniel asended he turned into an acient(they found a scroll that said that in the last episode)

Uhm, Michael shanks who plays daniel left the show after he "ascended" which happened in the finale you described, I think. Anyway he left the show and if he's a regular when you're watching still? I think you're the one behind.

no im fully upto speed with that --- reread my post i wasnt talking about daniel asending i was talking about him coming back(like he did whenever jack was geting torchered by baal) he wasnt flesh and blood he was just energy in the form of a person(like a holagram)

They are showing on Sky One, in some country other than America  Just watched the season finale and wow. Can't wait till season 7. I would post a site with access to these episodes, but i'm not sure it would be allowed.
