Xiaoxiao 9

The boss is hard.

Posted by: Erekose

yep, he goes all matirx on your ass...do stick figures have asses?

Posted by: Spider

Yeah dude, I was playing this a week or so ago, before my shit crashed. Fun stuff, I was getting owned though.

You think the boss is hard i cant even get past the second group

He combos really well, continuous jump kicks work pretty well though if yer really stuck. Some of them are irritating as they run away when you move toward them and toward you as you turn your back. Walk away from em and then when they get just close enough, turn and walk, jump, kick. Then stand over 'em and punch til they come up.

For a flash game it sure is bugged. The first time I played it, I already got stuck on the first screen behind the monitor and couldn't move out of it.

I only got to play it through once - the second time I played - almost killed the boss but died (didn't really know what I was doing anyway).

I developed a strat on the boss (just keep jump kicking him but it takes forever; alternate strat is waiting for him to walk near and then turn around to combo him - sometimes he dodges and when he does so he usually follows up with a combo so make sure you have the super attack ready). But I never got to try it out.

On my third attempt to get to the boss (first attempt SINCE developing the strat), I got to the boss only to have the game freeze on me. I right click and see that "Play" is unchecked... I check it and it jumps to the Game Over screen.

On my fourth and final try, I got stuck on the third screen because I landed on the blue mouse. Then I just gave up. It wasn't worth it at all.

I've gone through it in total about 4 times now. I can only see one bug in that the AI controlled guys get stuck on the monitor if you stand up against it. Other than that it was fine for me.

Ya gotta watch out for the boss when he dodges back, big ouchy coming.

Did anyone beat the whole game yet?

Posted by: bLaCkOuT

Yeah, there is only one boss and then the end. Basically only 4 sections.

Posted by: Outlaw

So did anything happen when you beat it?

A cool fight or animation?

Posted by: bLaCkOuT

The protagonist does a jumping roundhouse kick from a frontal view ... pretty sweet really. Thats about it though. I think it says The End, can't remember cause its been a day

I think when he's climbing up the shelves is the best part.

Posted by: ZeRo_MaXwInG

Yeah, that part where he climbs up and takes out the guy waiting on the lamp was awesome. I wish this game was a bit longer. I almost beat the boss but screwed up on my last life.

Posted by: bLaCkOuT

The first time I got through it, the boss was finally on his "yellow to red" life and I was only had one left ... I got him to half of that via jump kicks and then he combo'ed me to half and I thought it was over, but I just got lucky.

Posted by: Outlaw

LOL, I only got half a life left when I'm at end where the boss is.

Posted by: Spider

I found out you can change how many lives you get, heh. I got to hte boss with like six lives left, of course, I lost them all, I didn't even get him down to the last life bar. Close though..

Posted by: bLaCkOuT

Yeah, there is a slider to change the amount of lives you get. Best I've been able to manage was 4 deaths and then I arrived at the boss without a death and a half full life bar. He's wickedly hard.

I love these types of games ... like Streets of Rage and that other one with the wrestler Mayor Haggar fighting the scum on the street that took his daughter or something.
