My wife and I got approved for our lot loan today. That means in 2 years we are gonna build the house we want in the place we want with free sewer installation. We're really stoked.
The sewer lines are gonna be installed in 2 years and as long as we haven't built on the land its free! Woohoo!
Now lets just hope that the floor plan we want from our builder is still available.

Thee, some people do these things called "working," "saving up money," and "taking out loans."
Posted by: Ion Silverbolt
And you can't beat the interest rates. They haven't been this low in 30 years.
Posted by: bLaCkOuT
lol, no. Although I am young at 23. My wife and I are 37 hours apart in age actually. I'm not rich, I make under $10/hr doing apprentice IT work at an non-insurance insurance company (major medical provider for Christians www.medi-share.org) and my wife makes more than me in another depatment even.
There isn't a pic of me floating anywhere around here as I don't have a digital camera or a scanner.
We got a $5k loan at 7.50% over 5 years (Will be paid off within 2 years ) My car is only a year old and is 50% paid off. Should be able to finish off the car within a year and the land within another year (unless I get my cert's here at work and get those extra raises and then weeee).

Lets hope this goes good for you. One thing I know is that when it can go wrong, it will go wrong.

ahhh heh wrong dude... i was thinking you had multi colored hair, big ass spikes on top shaved around the edges and lived in new york...

Right on, Black, congrats.

Wow TheeMon, I think you like this spiked-hair guy, you keep on talking about him, hehe
Excuse me if I'm asking personal questions but where is this lot located, and how big is it? Big enough for a huge all out paintball game ?

Congrats Blackout ... hard work does pay off
now if only my turn comes up soon, hehe

...i hate you, die. no, really.
(yes im joking, of course im jealous. i cant even afford the rest of my tuition this semester so i have to take incompletes for all my classes )
Posted by: redwench
that makes no sense dude. you pay tuition ahead of time.
Posted by: Cheese
Not true, I got the bill for my tuition a couple weeks into the semester...

Hooray for scholarships. There's nothing like going to school on the state's dime.
Posted by: uh...ok
That's usually financial aid.
-uh...ok
Posted by: bLaCkOuT
Financial aid is what made this all possible. I was able to put myself through tech school with only 11k in school loans (75% scholoarship). My friend who took the same course now has almost 100k in school loans. Sad thing is that was only 2 of the 4 years, I went to community college for the first two.
FakeSnake: Its in Florida ... 80x125 ... and no you can't play paintball on it

i'm poor, so i paid a $25 dollar fee to have it spread out over 4 payments. well i made the first two, was late on the 3rd so they require that i pay the rest within two weeks (which doesn't seem to make much sense to me, but anyways) so now i don't get any credit for this semester and i still have to pay the rest or else i can't register next semester. yeah, life's a bitch. oh well
Posted by: Spider
deffered payment, figured. I did that too, homey.
Posted by: Canis Lupus
Good thing I didn't have to deal with the US-priced tuition when I was in college...
Posted by: redwench
ok, its simple. if you dont have the tuition, dont register.
Posted by: Erekose
...sorry to knock us off topic

Heh, the non-Florida American resisdents at my school pay roughly 10% more for tuition, but the non-American residents pay upwards of a whopping 40% more and almost 85% of the population base is non-American.
We got investigated on about 9-11-01 because of how many Muslims go there. Sad really, but is understandable since FIT is also a flight school.
