For those of you who value your fingers, your stress management skills, your job, and your friends, do NOT purchase Contra: Shattered Soldier. It will just make you pissed off. I used to consider myself very good with the Playstation controller, but this game has brought me to my knees.
On my sixth day, I am still slowly (very slowly, at that) finding my way through the third level, which so far is seeming easier than parts of the second level. I already skipped ahead to the fourth level (you can choose what level you want) and its just torture.
Argh. Help.

as i may (or may not, depends if i pulled my self away long enough) said earlier, the Devil programmed the 4th level. alas i had to return the game (5 day rentals rock) before i could preform the necessary dark rituals to summon forth a demon to play as lucia... do you know how hard it is to get the milk of a virgin goat?

Sorry man, its gonna be hard to find a select button on new controllers. That and you only wanted to hit select if you were playing 2-player...

lol all my friends were reading that and they though it was in latin. Sad how so few people actually played FF1...

What's that have to do with Final Fantasy? And why is it sad that I haven't played it?

its the code to get 30 sumthin lives insted of the regular 3 in one of the contras i cant remember
Posted by: schoby14
i remember back for the original nintendo system, the code (up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, b, a, b, a, select, start) would give u 30 lives instead of 3
This new code for ps2 does the same thing...but i think u have to use the second controller...thats what i read...

Yes yes, the Konami code as it was known was used for a variety of Konami games. I see people almost always add the "select" at the end of the code, but it's not actually part of it. It was only needed if you were playing with 2 people.
