Froogle Google!!

Google takes another step in its quest towards world domination. Froogle, a new service from Google, applies their proven search technology to online shopping. I did a search for some accessories for my Zaurus PDA and it not only did it find what I was looking for, it even showed me what the product looked like.
Unlike other product searches, Google is remaining true to its search results. The only paid listings you'll find, as on all Google properties, are AdWords. This is a refreshing change in a landscape littered with search results of questionable accuracy.

Man that is sweet. Searched for a few motherboards and such and got instant results.

Google has a few other new technologies, too... like the Google Viewer, where you can preview a page before surfing to it. I typed in "Tech Support" to see what came up. After the major manufacturers, guess who came up? Yup, that's right, we're #27.
Then there's Google WebQuotes, which I can't quite figure out (its in beta). Something to do with peer rankings or some such nonsense.

I've always used Google and its proven to be an invaluable search tool. I'll have to try some of their other search tools as well.
