eh, a gf2 really wouldnt be worth bothering with unless you get a really good deal and have an old computer. a low end gf4 (not MX) should run you around 120 USD. the gf2 cost over half that.
oh, you might actually want to look up the exchange rate, because the one you gave certainly isnt correct

I would suggest the Ti4400 or 4200 over the MX4xx series of GF4 cards.

What type and speed is your CPU and how much ram do you have?

Do you play a lot of games, and/or plan to keep this computer for awhile?
I would go with atleast a GeForce3, but would suggest a GeForce 4 Ti4200 128mb.

Just picked up a Abit GeForce4 Ti4200 for $123.00usd from googlegear.com
They do not ship outside of the US and Canada though.. may have a problem there.. check pricewatch.. that's how I found the deal I got..

well i have a AMD Duron 850 & 128 SDRAM i'am a big PC-Gamer even though my computer isn't great i'm just lookin 4 a resonably good price video card 64MB+ 1 that will work with my computer well & that will make a big difference in my gaming. Any suggestions what whould be the best video card 4 me (i'm not really lookin 4 1 that's twice as much as my motherboard & you need 2 run Doom3) just 1 2 games like SOF2 , The Thing , Red faction etc 2 their best capabilties.

By the time Doom 3 comes out, you might be better off waiting so you can do a major upgrade. Your processor and RAM are also big factors in gaming performance. 128 megs is kind of low anymore and it's only SDRAM so you're not going to have as much bandwidth as DDR memory. And an 850 Duron is also kind of slow for the latest games out now.
Still, you should get a decent performance boost by upgrading your video card. Upgrading to 256 megs may also help depending on the game.

I would go for an ATI 9500 PRO. It supports the newer DirectX 9 standards. You also won't have to worry about upgrading right away. Plus it's 200 bucks cheaper than the 9700 PRO!

With an 850mhz Duron, I would get a GF3 Ti 500 64mb. Then think about a new system in about 6 months, if you are wanting to play the latest games. Try and bump your ram to 384-512mb also. PC133 SDRAM is dirt cheap.

unless the pricing system is radically different down there, a gf3 is about the same as a gf4 in price. about a 10 USD difference.
