Spellforce: The Order of Dawn Gallery (PC)

Phenomic and JoWooD have launched the official site for Spellforce: The Order of Dawn, a promising role-playing/real-time strategy hybrid game for the PC being developed by Volker Wertich, the creator of The Settlers series of strategy games. But the real story isn't the launch of the site, it's the release of some real solid screenshots showing off a bit more of what this game truly has to offer. Pretty. Looks like it's going to be similiar to Baldur's Gate. But without all those retarded D&D 3rd edition rules. I chalk it up to very promising. Although it might be pretty heavy on the RTS side.

I hope you can control how long each "round" takes. The story does sound pretty original. . . well as original as you can get with D&D-type races, monsters, etc.
