Vote for your favorite Mario game

After playing quite a bit of the Snes classic "Super Mario All Stars", I thought about which Mario game I liked the best.
After considering all of the mario games that I've played, I'd have to say that Mario3 is the most memorable and overall, finest mario game out there. Mario 2 was interesting, but the level design just isnt up to the standards of Mario 3.
So, what do you all think?

Mario 3 is the greates Mario I have ever played (excluding Mario Sunshine).
Mario 1 and Mario 64 are in second.

Mario 64.
The camera system sucked though, that always annoyed the hell out of me. Huge Bowser was cool. 
Mario RPG was fun too.

Mario World 2 is fun, but I liked mario world 1 better. Just something about it was more fun to me.

Toss up between Mario 3 and Mario World, but then I fired up my SNES and plugged my copy of Mario All Stars/World in.
Put me down for Mario World.

They were all so fun to play. Hard choice.
I'll have to go with Mario 3 though.
And if your going with just a game that includes Mario, its an easy choice....Smash Bros!

Wow, paper mario, huh?
I rented that, played it for about 10 minutes and just gave up on it. All the reviews said it was good, but I couldnt get into it at all.
Might have to give it a second look.

Hmm, surprised I missed this thread.
Mario 3 for the NES, though Mario 1 is a close second.

Nintendo Power had this big pull out section on how to make all the Nintendo characters.
So I made an animation of Yoshi taking Mario's head off then spitting out a skull. Was funny as hell.

I liked Mario World 2 the best. I would pick MarioKart but im thinking that doesn't work in this poll
I think Luigi is gay along with Toad....
