Has anyone played or is currently playing Neocron? Somehow I ended up on the website for the game last night and it looks pretty good. The fee is pretty good too, their 3 month plan is $24.95. If you buy it before January 18th you get 6 weeks free(instead of 4). Im trying to find an Secondary MMO to play in addition to DAOC/SI. I need break from it sometimes and I just dont have anything else to play.
Its basically an FPS MMORPG. They have an offline demo. I tried it last night and it seems pretty good. It locked up on me though durring one part and it corrupted all the textures for the game though. There are vehicles that you can own too(Cant modify them though  ). I saw some screenshots of a Hoverbike, Tanks, different kinds of flying ships and a few other things.

Well, I can't judge this game or any other MMOFPS, but Planetside looks to be a lot more of a quality product. Still, I have my doubts about any FPS making it in the pay to play arena.
On the brightside, at least its basis is online competition to begin with. Unlike the RPG's that end up being a competition anyway even though they aren't supposed to be as such.

Planetside isnt gonna be out til march though, which is when SWG is supposed to be out.

One that Ive really been watching is http://www.eve-online.com/ . I really wanna play a nice space combat MMO. However it wont be out til March as well. I applied for the beta a month ago when it opened, but havent gotten in and probably wont. Maybe I should hold off on a 2nd MMO until one I really like comes out. Im hearing that Neocron has lots of Technical problems. Earlier when I was fooling around with the demo, it locked up and when I went to play it again, all the textures were corrupt(Supposedly happens a lot with the full version according to their forums).
March is gonna be a busy month for MMO's next year...

I play Neocron a lot, and because of my position (i.e running SavePoint.co.uk) CDV love me enough to give me a free account (I love them guys).
Which server do you play on, and what is your name? I'm on urinus (sp) and go mainly by the name of Samus - I've even set-up a clan (Fellowship of the Monkey) and am soon planning on taking over an outpost.
What do you think of the game overall? I think it has some major cool things in it, but also it's problems (like crashes, etc..) but give it a year or so and it will be ace 
dude, we need to talk you got MSN or ICQ?

MMOG's suck too much money out of your wallet -- that's why I never play them... I just can't warrent paying 5-10 bucks a month to play a game i spent 40 bucks on.
