Something's wrong!
But sometimes when it freezes it shows blue screen with exceptional error blahh blah etc I think its video card problem but dunno how to fix it :/

I have this problem sometimes too, but when I have it I never get an error message box. Also, I get a continuous stream of farting eeeeerrrrrrr sound with it. You get that sound too? This is something we might report to blizzard if you and I arn't isolated cases.

Me too but on a different computer

Do you have all the newest drivers and updates for windows? Uninstall and reinstall the game? And when did the problem start? Did you install or update anything that could be causing a conflict now?
Once when Blizzard updated Diablo 2 they changed something in that patch that made the game no longer work with my graphics card (actually it was a junk integrated graphics controller). I had to go out and buy a graphics card. Good luck.

Hey, just wanted to tell u guys I have exactly the same problem..
I play on battl.net and after maybe one or two games it freezes and the sound goes loop too..
Plz tell me if you find out anything about this problem!

I have the same problem. The game will freeze at completely random times. Sometimes the moment wc3 opens, sometimes 5 minutes into a game, some times after 3 games but it will always freeze. I have above and beyond the requirments and have the drivers but it still freezes. Plz go the blizzard because i think many people have this.

Well, first of all visit Blizzard's support solution for this one (if you haven't yet):
http://www.blizzard.com/support/?id=awr0649p
Also, try to disable 3d positional sound and see if it helps...
It would be good to update your video and sound drivers while you're at it, as well as make sure you got all the critical and recommended updates in Windows Update.
Stick around for more suggestions, and good luck.

download a ram checker off of download.com to scan your memory for any problems. i was getting a similar fatal error message with wc3 and it turned out to be that part of my ram was not operational.

I am having a similar problem. Never occurred during the single player campaign but after dozens of games of multiplayer it's been cropping up again and again. Now whenever I join an online team game I tell my mates sorry if I disconnect my computer is a piece of #$@%. Actually I had to replace my graphics card before (luckily it was within 12 months and all I had to pay was shipping) due to the fact that it melted itself. So obviously here I am thinking it's simply the summer and the overheating of the motherboard or video card, which both have noisy fans that attempt to emulate the sound of a hair dryer. So I now have a box fan sitting beside my open case. I've downloaded all the latest drivers, I've tweaked BIOS settings and WC3 settings in audio and video all in a vain attempt to be able to get through a multiplayer game without the screen simply locking up and an awful computer fart sound that drones off into infinity. What can we do?

pcprimitive,
Please be sure to visit http://www.memtest86.com and download memtest86.
You will need to create a bootable floppy or cd for your computer.
Follow the directions on the site and run the application by rebooting your computer with the cd/disc in.
Let the application finish one entire test round. This will let us know if any part of your RAM modules, memory controllers, or motherboard are faulty.
Please post back with your results when you can. Good luck.
