One of our users uses a program called Netswitcher to change their IP address from location to location. Ex. When he is at office one, he clicks the office one tab in the software and it changes the address for them rather than them messing with the network properties themselves. Actually, they do not have the autority to go into the network properties at all. Recently at his primary office, the network structure changed and he his unable to send email from his POP account. When I play around with the netswitcher software, Outlook will look properly for about a day or two and then, will stop working. I'm getting the feeling that changing the IP address constantly is conflicting with his POP account somehow. First, does anyone know of any other software I can buy that works like netswitcher? Second, does anyone know what the deal might be?

I assume this person is on a laptop? if so have you considered setting up profiles. If you set up a profile for each location it will remember the IP settings.

Do you mean diff. users on the laptop? I need to make sure all the email settings, files, and settings are set for good.
