Networking Windows ME and XP

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Are windows ME and XP not able to see each other on a network? Before recently I've always done small office or school networks and (surprisingly) never had to worry about networking computers with different operating systems. Anyways, when I set them up, they're just simply unable to see each other. This is the first time I've tried networking Windows ME, so maybe I'm missing something, but it looks just like the network setup for 98 and 95 did. Anything I should know/try?

Yes, they can see each other on a network.

if you are running Windows XP home, all that you should have to do is run the home network wizard on the XP computer 1st, and then run the home network wizard on the computer with ME.

if it's XP Pro that you are running, i don't know what you need to do, but there are others here that should be able to help.
