Looking for a new game

I'm gonna buy a new PC game and I was wondering what you all reccomend. I don't play a lot so someone has to bring me up to date. I enjoyed playing Jedi Outcast, AOE, The old X-Wing/Tie fighter games. I hate games that play like FinalFantasy. Who in real life takes turns fighting the other person?!?! I always enjoy a good Zelda game and even a corny Mario game is fun sometimes. Any reccomendations?

eh, you could pick up a gamecube and get an actual mario and zelda game

I'm an avid PC Gamer. Lot's of good stuff out there now. If you like shooters Ghost Recon is good and already has two expansions for it. Mafia is really good too and has good graphics. Medal of Honor is alot of fun and has an expansion pack out for it now.
If you like sim games, you've got The Sims, MS Flight Simulator 2002, Comanche 4 which I really love. Warcraft III you might like if you like the AoE type games.

Hehe, who in real life eats different-colored mushrooms so they can get bigger, become invincible or shoot fire
Anyway, since you like flight simulators, there are probably several Star Wars-based simulators out there ... not much good games on the PC nowadays unless you like first-person shooters...

PC games have gone down the toilet in the last 6 or more months. I quit even looking at the new stuff, and really don't care much for anything coming out.
I've been playing Xbox games one right after another, and have only found a couple that I didn't enjoy.

Battlefield 1942 is an absolutely awesome and amazingly fun game to play! Especially if you play it online.

I think I may try Warcraft. IS it exactly like AOE or are there missions or quests? AOE got boring quick although it was fun to play for a little. There a whole bunch of Army games out now. Is 1942 the best? I think I'm gonna go buy Mafia and another game. I have a copy of Warcraft and Ghost Recon came w/ my new vid card so maybe I'll try those. I'm waiting for Zelda for GC, until then, I'm gonna stay away from Consoles. I heard Mario Sunshine sucked and just the name of it scared me altogether. Anyway, thanks!

I have heard Dark Cloud is a good game, all my friends say its awesome i havent played it myself though. I dunno haw it plays either.
