Here area all the "features" of the system:

Fastest console on the market
Broadest selection of preloaded games
Cross Platform capabilities
State of the art design and architecture
Advanced accessories and wireless capabilities
Online connectivity for multi player gaming
Seamless upgrades and patch management
A multi tiered subscription service that meets the needs of casual, moderate and hard-core game players
Demo games before purchasing or subscribing
Games on demand
Game Rentals

Oh, and they also said this:

"There are currently 32,679 retail game titles available and 418 shareware game titles and this does not include; adult, casino, sequels and new releases in past 6 months"

So.... they are going to release a PC in a special package.

WOW! That's amazing!

It's not April 1st is it?

Nice Xbox controller to... LOL

I wonder what the price will be. I bet it will be real cheap for the console, and then their fees will be outrageous. I was reading some other stuff about it and basically every online game will have a fee, even PC games that dont have fees will have them. You pay by a subscription service that increases depending on how many games you want to play. You are also responsible independently for any fee's for MMO games. Paying 2 fees to play a single MMO, wow, whoever came up with that deserves title of "Modern Day Einstein".

Riiiiight.

Their website is a joke. 32,000 games huh? I'll just take my hoverboard over to electronics boutique and reserve one of these hotcakes.

Sounds like a load of crap to me.

Well its officially mainstream now. Gamespot has picked up the story.

Why would MS want to buy them?

It seems this might be an elaborate hoax. IGN did some digging and they found no patents of any kind registered to Infinium or "Phantom". They also tried to contact the company at the numbers given and they just got a simple recording with no way to contact anyone human.

It sort of seems like a hoax because this just comes out of the blue all of a sudden. There wasnt any pre-hype, early-hype, or any other hype saying they were working on it. They either think they dont need hype to sell , or its a hoax.

Wow, I never thought my school project for web design: Infinium.com would get this much attention.
