I went out and bought myself a RC10 GT RTR Plus yesterday.
I'll say this, the break in period really sucked, but since then, it's been getting faster and faster. I take it over the most evil of terrain, and the only thing that stops it, is 5 or more inches of snow. I know just about everyone has had an RC car in thier life, most likely electric. I'll say this right now, this thing takes any electric RC car and will put it to absolute shame . I say it's going about 35mph now, and still running the fuel aweful rich. But that's a good thing, keep the motor in good shape longer.
Anyone else have a gas powered RC car? I'd love to hear about it. I'll get some pictures if I can find some batteries for my camera

When I was younger I used to be into RC racing pretty heavy. I had an Team Associated RC10 and RC10T. Both were electric, but would clock in around 40-50 depending on the track surface. The buggy was faster than the truck and was my personal favorite.
Gas will always be faster but, we didn't have any tracks around here at the time that would handle the gas cars.
I've thought about buying a kit again and building one just to mess around with. Racing is too large of an investment you go through a lot of parts.
