Xbox- splinter cell

I was just wondering if anyone here has played and enjoyed splinter cell as much as i have? I love that game, but i wish there were more levels and and the option to choose what u go into a mission with. I know that with Xbox live u can DL new stuff, but i cant committ to that.
I was also wondering what people prefer more, splinter cell or metal gear. I realize that it's like comparing apples to oranges but for the sake of conversation what side of the fence do you prefer?
I'd have to say that i'm 50/50 on it. metal gear has the story and characters and great action, but to me splinter cell has got the stealth action that i need. I feel like a ghost when i'm playing it. The olny thing it really dosent have is the story, when i play MGS i have an attachment to the characters but with SC there is none.
let me know what you think, and for anyone out there that hasnt played splinter cell i recomend that you give it a shot. peace

Splinter Cell is a great game. My cousin owns it so I went over to his house one night and played a bit. Man that's an awesome game. I plan to buy it sometime. I also own MGS2, but I think Splinter Cell is actually better. Even with all the extra VR missions and stuff from Substance Splinter Cell is still much more realistic than Metal Gear. That said Metal Gear probably offers the better story.

I'm lookin forward to Splinter Cell hitting the Gamecube. Looks pretty swank.

I was reading that splinter cell was going to ps2 and game cube. i just hope that it dosen't lack any of the great graphics that it has on the X box. I guess there is also supposed to be a bonus mission as well.
