Funny (yet sad) computer story

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Me and two of my friends (Ben and Chris) had a LAN party at our house last weekend. We spend the entire night playing Starcraft and Ghost Recon Demo.

Anyway, the next morning we're trying to get MOHAA to work on our computers. Then, Chris's mouse stops working and his computer is beeping and all sorts of odd screwy stuff is happening. It turns out that my basset hound had chewed his mouse cable :þ

So then a few days later, we give him about $15 or so for him to buy a new mouse (he had an older one he could use, but no scrolly on it). So they buy a new mouse, but Chris, just for fun, want's to see if he could get the broken mouse to work. So he cuts off the small area where the wires where chewed, and he takes the two ends and connects the wires.

So then he plugs in the mouse, and somehow it ends up frying his motherbord. So now poor Chris has no computer to play games on until they get a new mobo. So sad

no. sad would be if lightning struck his computer. he deliberately did something that was, quite frankly, idiotic. i trust hes learned something from this little adventure.
