Final Fantasy Orgins, coming to the USA!

I thought this was canceled for the US, but both gamestop and ebgames have it listed as shipping in april. And its only $30!
It has Final Fantasy(my second fav) and Final Fantasy II with orignal graphics and sound(I think sound too) with added FMV's like in FF Chronicles. Hopefully it runs on PS2.

From the screen shots it looked like they updated the graphics to SNES style. Could be wrong though. Check ffonline.com.

I'm curious about the third screenshot showed on gamestop, and the names and graphics of the characters.

Someone just named their characters that.
If it's FF1 you can name them whatever you want. I've never played the real FF2 so I can't say if its the same.

Since you could rename them all in FF3 also, I'm sure you can do it in 2 as well.
It made me think for a sec too
