Came upon a funny and strange website . They are paying people to use their cpu cycles. Just thought it's weird, that's all.

What I find funnier is the referral ID attached to the URL  This is not much different than SETI, or Folding@Home, or other programs that use CPU cycles ...
the only difference is the other programs don't engage in referral commissions ... please take note of this in the future when you post, as we do not allow this kind of practice here ....
