I have started using 10-10-220 to call someone longdistance and i'd say i've used it at least 5 times in the past two months.....but when i look on the bill i cannot find the service anywhere....should i ask about this or let it slid?????

theyre probably just behind on thier billing cycle.

Some 10 10 xxx numbers are automatically billed some bill on their own, eventually you will get a bill.

I may be mistaken, but aren't the 10-10-xxx calling services collect calling services?

No they are not all collect services only some like 1-800-callatt
But you have to look at what you are being charged carefully.
Some charge you 1.00 for the first 1 second up to 20 minutes, so if you call for one second you are still charged $1.00.
Some charge you a connect fee per call like 10 10 345, whose fee was 15 cents per call, but was recently raised to 30 cents per call, so even though they only charge you .05 per minute if you only call for one minute, you still get charged 35 cents.
Some charge you a USF fee of 9.9% to 10.5% of the montly charges, others charge you a flat fee for using their service which can be run from $1.12 a month to $3.95 a month.
The 1010 636 and 1010 811 plans calculate USF as BOTH a $0.75 fixed amount plus a percentage fee (except on instate calls).
