Came accross this game just a moment ago, kinda interesting for a go or two.
The faster you can type, the longer the game will go on, hence giving you a higher score.
Just don't let a mass of letters reach the left side of the screen.

I got 251 my first try.
Oh, BTW, if you type a wrong letter, I think it subtracts from your score.

Fun game.
The Dreamcast game"Typing of the Dead" had an extra mode just like this... really addictive.

if u wanna try another game that involves words...
go to
www.popcap.com and try the wordshark game. it involves typing words forwards, backwards, letters, and it gets faster over time. for those of you who type fast like me, you can go to the ultimate mode if you wish...i don't have a link so sorry. just go to that website and it should be easy to find

dagnabbit, i was going to suggest that game 
...sorry, i got bored with that game after i hit 7300. and i only use two fingers. the only difficulty in the game is trying to figure out which friggin letter it is with all the stuff exploding. i suggest if you have some time try the popcap one

...wait a tick, why is it no one else seems to be able to break 1000? I got 7300~ and had to stop. i'm really nto that good of a typist. hell i use two fingers and hunt-peck. are we playing the same game?

got 243 first try can't break 250...let alone 1000. maybe me head just doesn't work like that?

?? maybe my computer is just really REALLY crappy and slows the game down somehow? but the letters were going at a pretty good clip no matter if there was 1 or a murder

Even though I was pretty good typist, i'm an "evil" typist. My first score was 666. 
Edit: Second score was 2100. I quit because it was getting boring...
