The Upgrade Itch...

Well, seems to me that the upgrade itch is getting pretty incessant... so this is gonna be my new system, which I'll build when all (or most) of the parts become available:
Dual Athlon 4 1400mhz (up to 1600s, whatever is available when duals hit)
Abit Dual Athlon board, raid capable
512 megs CAS2 PC2100 DDR RAM
GeForce 3 (Of course, I already have this part  )
sb live (a new one... my live value sucks)
Another 48gig maxtor drive to match what I have... to run the fast raid.
Anything else will just come off my current box... hopefully there will be enough parts left over to make a server of some sort, so I can share my net connection to multiple comps.

Can't interest you in making a guide for that, can I? Hehehe ...
Anyway, I'll probably be building a dual-processor system near Christmas, coz I am still saving for that ... still a toss-up between an Intel or an AMD processor, so I guess I'll just read the reviews for the duallies

Oops, new PS/Case as well, since according to an article I'm reading ( http://www.overclockers.com.au/tech...a_tyan_thunder/ ) it's gonna need a new PS. No biggy though, since I'd need to buy a second case anyway.
Also, there are rumors of a new creative labs sound card coming out soon... I might wait so I can put one of those in my box.

This is gonna be the first time ever that I go ALL out on a computer. Last year, my K7 700 was pretty damn good... but it wasn't the best.
This time, my system is gonna give me bragging rights for more than a few months
As for a guide... we'll see
