FF1 but that looks more like an update graphic for the Wonderswan or PSX versions.
The black wizard in FF9 looked like that to.

That looks more like concept art than anything. And historically throughout FF, anything termed a 'black mage' has had the same general appearance -- more sophistication being the only differene over time.

I know most of the FF games have black mages that look something like this.
Perhaps I should ask a better question. Which FF game has a Black Mage with an overhead view (Like the pic I attached) has the best graphics?

I would say either FF Tactics or FF9. Tactics allows you to adjust to almost any view on the map though, so it would probably be better.

It might be from the remake of the old FF games. I've seen a few screenshots and they look like that.

I'd put my money on FF Tactics too, which I might add, was a fun game with a medium challenge.

But no, it's not from that picture.
You can probably find the exact same image (of the nicer one) in the FFT manual or strat guide.
